- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Centigrade and prepare the baking tray.
- Prepare the dry ingredients by sifting the flour, salt, ginger, baking soda, cinnamon and keep aside.
- Cream the butter and sugar until pale. Add the glucose syrup and continue mixing. Add the egg and beat some more until well incorporated.
- Add the dry ingredients in two additions and continue mixing until well combined. The dough should be a bit sticky.
