- Method for the peas mixture - Heat oil in a cooker add jeera and hing and let it splutter.
- Cook for a few seconds and add ginger sauté, Add the peas, red chilli powder, haldi powder, dhaniya powder, salt, sugar and 2 teaspoon of water to it.
- Cook for five minutes, slightly covered, to retain the green colour of peas,keep stirring and checking, when done add dry mango powder and garam masala and mix well.
- Soak urad dal overnight. - In the morning, strain, grind, with ginger, chilli and salt to a smooth paste.
- Add salt red chilli powder and beat thoroughly with your palms to make it fluffy.
- Now mash the cooked peas, add boiled and mashed potato and chaat masala and mix well.
- Heat oil in a deep pan.
- Cut the bread slices into halves. - Take one half of bread and apply the peas mixture and cover with another half.
- Dip each stuffed bread in the dal batter and coat evenly from all sides.
- Cut again into two parts
- Slide each coated peas sandwich pakoda in hot oil and fry until golden in colour from all sides, turning occasionally.
- Take out on absorbent paper. - Delicious and crispy snack is ready.
- Do the plating and serve hot with green mint coriander chutney.
