- In a large bowl, blend the butter and sugar for 4 to 5 minutes until creamy. Add egg yolk and Vanilla extract and mix until well combined

- Bake cookies for 12 to 14 minutes until the edges are golden brown
- Allow the cookies to cool for 10 to 15 minutes on the baking sheet,now cool completely on the wire rack. Store in airtight container. Serve with cup of warm milk
